Hi! My name is Alexandra Galbraith, I am a mom of 2, a French Immersion teacher, and a skincare business owner.

Four years ago, our son was diagnosed with several anaphylactic food allergies ( peanut, cashew, pistachio, sesame, and fish).

Often friends and family would be curious what that means, how do you keep Leo safe. I realized there was a real need to help people understand what having an allergy means as it can be different for everyone.

This blog is meant to share our journey with Leo’s allergies and my life over the past 4 years.

I recommend you still do your research as everyone’s comfort levels are different. In our house, we do not feel comfortable with any ” may contain ” statements on our food as his allergy is quite severe.

We have zero-tolerance for those allergens in our house due to the possibility of cross-contamination.

I’m happy to answer any questions that you have and support you with your allergy journey.

To promote a positive community, negative comments will not be permitted and subsequently will be removed from the blog.
